Career
Du won the bronze medal in the 2006 IBF World Championships in women's doubles with . They were defeated in semifinals by Gao Ling and Huang Sui of China, 21-18, 20-22, 17-21.
The following year they also played at the 2007 BWF World Championships. They were seeded #5 and were defeated in the second round by a walkover.
In 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Du and Yu Yang won the gold medal in women's doubles.
